Marzoli Celebrates 150 Years of Textile Machinery Excellence in Brescia
Milano. The Marzoli, a Brescia-based company active in the mechanotextile sector, will celebrate its 150th anniversary tomorrow, dating back to its founding in 1851 by Cristoforo and Francesco Marzoli.
Acquired in 1999 by the Gruppo Camozzi, Marzoli positions itself on the global market as a producer of a complete line of machinery for cotton spinning.
To celebrate the occasion, a full day dedicated to festivities has been planned: the doors of Marzoli will open to the public and local authorities, allowing them to visit the factory and the Museum, which is a valuable witness, not only of 150 years of industrial tradition but above all of national history.
In commemoration of the 150th anniversary, Poste Italiane will cancel a series of postcards that will remain symbols of this memorable day.
Role and Importance of Marzoli in the Community
The Marzoli, a historic brand of the Brescia industry, has always played a decisive role for the entire Palazzolo community, which is called upon to share the spirit of the event, whose primary goal is to create continuity between the past and the present.
The anniversary will also be an occasion to award the workers who, with their commitment, have contributed to building this great business reality.
