Minors and Adoption: Key Insights from Recent Desenzano Meeting

The brief series of meetings on the topic of minors organized by the Associazione Villa dei Colli di Lonato and the Cooperativa Sociale La Fiaba has concluded.

The issue of adoptions, the subject discussed during the last meeting at the Palazzo del Turismo di Desenzano, continues to be at the center of an active debate.

The technical aspect was addressed by lawyer Donatella Mento, while the emotional modes and aspects typically involved in adoption were discussed by Matilde Azzacconi, president of the Associazione Famiglia e Minori di Roma.

With her intervention, the audience, which was numerous in the hall, was engaged in the debate.

It certainly resulted in a rich exchange of experiences shared by the various participants.

Among others, the meeting also included the presence of the young residents of the Comunità Exodus di Lonato.

The Comune di Desenzano, according to the council president Maria Ida Germontani, is providing valuable aid to address the issues faced by minors through the opening of a foster family home.
