Coop Members to Fund Community Playground in Cinque Continenti

The Coop members will be able to choose to fund the Globo project through the points collection campaign scheduled from October 2001 to January 2002. The project has been presented by four voluntary associations from Castiglione: Arci, Caritas, Croce Rossa (Red Cross), and Equatore.

The objectives of the project

The project aims to create a playground at the Cinque Continenti neighborhood, a district completely lacking in green spaces equipped for outdoor play, despite a very high presence of children.

According to the associations, this initiative will not only keep children away from street dangers and prevent them from spending most of their time in front of the television, but will also help build a social network within the neighborhood, starting from the needs of the younger residents.

Community involvement

The interested condominium administrators have expressed their support for the project.

The designated area is the green strip that separates the Cinque Continenti from the S. Paolo complex, the two residential blocks that make up the neighborhood.
