Women’s Rights Event Focuses on Women’s Economic and Social Integration

The fourth event in the series “Women’s Rights”, titled “Women’s Integration into Economic and Social Life”, will be held on Saturday the 24th at 4:00 PM at the Palazzo del Turismo of Desenzano del Garda.

The speakers, Dr. Maria Monesi and Dr. Marco Scardeoni, will examine Italian and European legislation on the subject and will illustrate the organizations, initiatives, and subsidized financing opportunities for female entrepreneurship provided by law 215 of 1992.

Special attention will be given to projects funded by the European Social Fund for training and promoting women’s participation in the labor market.

Upcoming meetings and services for mothers

The series of meetings, promoted by the Municipal Commission for Equal Opportunities chaired by Dr. Maria Ida Germontani, will continue on December 1st (Women’s health: alternative medicines) and will conclude on December 15th (The citizen and the euro).

To assist mothers who request it, a babysitting service will be set up.
