Scammers Impersonate Police in Garda Offering Fake Magazine Subscriptions

They pose as carabinieri when contacting hoteliers, shopkeepers, artisans, and restaurateurs in the middle and upper Garda area, proposing subscriptions to military magazines.

This is not about military personnel, but scammers who, from time to time, claim to belong to the finance police, the police, the fire brigade, or the municipal police.

They often offer subscriptions to non-existent magazines or those unrelated to law enforcement agencies.
