Scammers Pose as Carabinieri in Garda, Offering Fake Magazine Subscriptions

Pretending to be Carabinieri, scammers contact hotel owners, shopkeepers, artisans, and restaurateurs in the middle and upper Garda area, offering magazine subscriptions from the force.

They are not military personnel, but scammers who, from time to time, claim to belong to the finance police, the police, the fire brigade, or municipal police.

They often offer subscriptions to nonexistent magazines or publications that have nothing to do with law enforcement agencies.
