Carabinieri Impersonators Target Garda Businesses in Fake Subscription Scams

The Carabinieri impersonators are making fake phone calls to hoteliers, shop owners, artisans, and restaurant owners in Middle and Upper Garda, offering subscriptions to magazines of the force.

They are not military personnel, but scammers who, each time, claim to belong to the finance department, police, fire brigade, or municipal police.

They often offer subscriptions to non-existent magazines or magazines that have no relation to the law enforcement.
