Garda Scammers Faking Police to Sell Fake Magazine Subscriptions

They pose as Carabinieri when contacting hotel owners, shopkeepers, artisans, and restaurants in the Middle and Upper Garda, offering subscriptions to the arma‘s magazines.

These are not military personnel but scammers who, from time to time, claim to belong to the finance police, the police, the fire brigade, or the Municipal police.

How to recognize scams

They often propose subscriptions to nonexistent magazines or those unrelated to law enforcement agencies.
