Scammers Impersonate Carabinieri to Target Garda Hospitality and Retail

They impersonate Carabinieri when calling hoteliers, shopkeepers, artisans, and restaurants in the Middle and Upper Garda regions, offering subscriptions to military magazines of the armed forces.

They are not soldiers, but scammers who periodically claim to belong to the finance department, police, fire brigade, or the Municipal police.

How to Recognize Scams
