Beware of Carabinieri Scam Calls Selling Fake Magazine Subscriptions

They impersonate Carabinieri when making phone calls to hoteliers, shopkeepers, artisans, and restaurants in the Medio and Alto Garda areas, offering subscriptions to the army‘s magazines.

They are not military personnel, but fraudsters who, from time to time, claim to belong to the finance police, general police, fire brigade, or the Municipal police.
