Salerno Nautical Center: Research, Activities, and Maritime Education
The Centro Nautico of Salerno was inaugurated in 1955 and is located in the Lungomare area, near the port.
The center’s headquarters takes into account the many students who participate in water, sailing, and swimming activities. The facility includes a large indoor swimming pool and extensive areas for learning and training.

Students participate in practical exercises, sailing courses, and regattas. The center also hosts cultural meetings and conferences focused on marine conservation.
It collaborates with numerous sports and nautical institutions to promote maritime culture among young people and encourage environmental education.

The main educational building spans multiple floors: on the ground floor are areas for practical exercises and assistance points, while the first floor houses classrooms and administrative offices. The outdoor areas include small docks and spaces for displaying nautical equipment.
The external areas of the center are accessible via pedestrian and bike paths, promoting interaction with the sea and walking activities.
