Salerno Nautical Center: History, Facilities, and Maritime Education

The Salerno Nautical Center was inaugurated in 1955 and is located in the Lungomare area, near the port.

The center’s headquarters takes into account the many students who attend water, sailing, and swimming activities. The facility includes a large indoor pool and extensive areas for learning and training.

Activities and Events

Students participate in practical exercises, sailing courses, and regattas. Cultural meetings and conferences on ocean conservation are also held there.

The center collaborates with numerous sports and nautical institutions to promote maritime culture among youth and encourage environmental education.
