The Salerno Nautical Centre was inaugurated in 1955 and is located in the Lungomare area, near the port.

The centre’s headquarters hosts many students participating in water activities, sailing, and swimming. The facility includes a large covered swimming pool and extensive areas for learning and training.

Students participate in practical drills, sailing courses, and regattas. Cultural meetings and conferences on marine conservation are also held there.
