Sirmione BLSD Course Trains Over 40 Youth in First Aid

The Sirmione Youth Association’s BLSD first aid course continues to promote CPR and defibrillator use, following last summer’s initiative that saw the donation of a DAE at Spiaggia Brema to train young people in life-saving techniques.

On February 15, 42 youths attended a five-hour session at the Palace Hotel in Rivoltella del Garda, led by expert instructors from organizations including VVFF Brescia, Valtenesi Soccorso, CEFRA-FVS, Croce Bianca Lumezzane, and COSP Bedizzole. The event, organized by President Michael Brunelli and supported by Sofia Ermogene, aimed to raise awareness in a region with an estimated 1.2 cardiac arrests per 1,000 inhabitants annually, with about 60% occurring in the presence of others.
