Brescia Province Sees High Hotel Bookings and Last-Minute Easter Reservations

Nearly 11 million Italians are expected to travel during Easter holidays, generating an estimated €5.5 billion in revenue, according to Federalberghi. In Brescia province, hotel bookings average around 80%, with Alessandro Fantini, president of Federalberghi Brescia, noting strong occupancy despite the holiday falling early in the season and geopolitical factors limiting extra-European tourism.

Travel patterns vary within the province, with Italian visitors and tourists from Central Europe, the UK, and Belgium maintaining steady numbers. Lake area accommodations are preparing for reopening, with Lake Iseo performing on par with previous years. Mountain and high-valley resorts benefit from recent snowfall, and last-minute bookings are expected as weather conditions may push occupancy toward full capacity.
