Cornuda Social Support Project Launches for Elderly and Disabled
Agreement in Cornuda
On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda to formalize a project aimed at supporting the most disadvantaged social groups. The event was attended by some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.
The project, which will last for two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents of the municipality. The total funds allocated for the initiative amount to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European funds.
Planned Activities and Goals
The planned activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for vulnerable groups. Additionally, social transportation services will be enhanced and listening and community centers established.
The project seeks to promote social integration and enhance the quality of life for the individuals involved, also creating opportunities for meeting and fostering solidarity among residents.
