One Piece Lands at LEGOLAND Water Park Gardaland With LEGO Laboon Statue
From August 3 to 30, LEGOLAND Water Park Gardaland in Castelnuovo del Garda will host a One Piece installation featuring Laboon the whale, with the display open on Mondays and Tuesdays and on Saturday 29 and Sunday 30, from 11:00 to 19:00.
The sculpture is over two meters tall, weighs about 300 kilograms, and was built using more than 25,000 LEGO bricks. The project took around 100 hours and was designed and created by Riccardo Zangelmi, Italy’s only LEGO Certified Professional, with support from a second builder. Laboon will greet guests at the entrance of the water park, marking the first time a character from Eiichiro Oda’s universe is featured at the venue.
The initiative is part of the park’s broader offer, which includes slides, themed areas, customizable inflatable boats, and creative activities such as Miniland and LEGO Creation Island. Visitors can also take a photo with Laboon and submit it at the park’s LEGO Store to receive a surprise, according to the rules provided by the organizers; details are available on gardaland.it.
