On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Participants included representatives from local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives from the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.
The project, with a duration of two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and community funds.
Planned Activities and Objectives
The planned activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the most vulnerable groups. Social transport services will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
The project seeks to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life of those involved, creating opportunities for community meetings and solidarity among citizens.
