Cornuda Social Support Project Enhances Inclusion for Vulnerable Groups

On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The operation involved representatives from local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last for two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total funding allocated for the implementation of the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European funds.

Planned activities and objectives

The planned activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the most vulnerable groups. Social transportation will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.

The project aims to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life for those involved, also fostering moments of encounter and solidarity among citizens.

The Municipal Administration has reaffirmed its commitment to support the initiatives by ensuring surveillance services and coordination among the various involved components.
