Cornuda Social Support Project Boosts Inclusion with €100K Funding

On June 9, 1996, an agreement was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda to sign a project supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the operation, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last for two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the Municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and European funds.

Planned activities and objectives

The planned activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the most vulnerable groups. Social transportation will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.

The project seeks to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life for the involved individuals, also creating opportunities for community gathering and solidarity among citizens.

The role of institutions and associations

The municipal administration has committed to support these initiatives, providing security services and coordinating among the various involved components.
