Cornuda Social Support Project Promotes Inclusion and Community Wellbeing
Agreement in Cornuda
On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The operation involved some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.
The project, which will last two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the Municipality. The total allocated funding for the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and community funds.
Planned Activities and Objectives
The planned activities include home care services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the most vulnerable groups. Social transportation will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers established.
The project seeks to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life for the involved individuals, creating opportunities for community interaction and solidarity among citizens.

The municipal administration has committed to supporting these initiatives by providing oversight services and coordination among the various involved components.
