Cornuda Social Support Project Focuses on Elderly and Disabled Care

On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The operation involved several representatives from local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of this initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and community funds.

Planned Activities and Objectives

The planned activities include home care services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the most vulnerable groups. Social transportation will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.

The project aims to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life for the people involved, also creating opportunities for meeting and solidarity among citizens.

The municipal administration has committed itself to supporting the initiatives, ensuring supervision and coordination services among the various involved components.
