Cornuda Social Support Initiative: Local Funding and Community Involvement
Cornuda Convention
On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The operation involved some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.
The project, which will have a duration of two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents of the municipality. The total funding allocated for the implementation of the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European funds.
Planned Activities and Objectives
The planned activities include home care services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the most vulnerable groups. Additionally, social transportation will be enhanced and listening and meeting centers will be established.
The project aims to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life for the people involved, also creating opportunities for social interaction and solidarity among citizens.

The municipal administration has committed to supporting the initiatives by providing oversight services and coordinating the various involved components.
