On June 9, 1996, an agreement was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last for two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the Municipality. The total allocated amount for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and community funds.
