On June 9, 1996, a convention was held in the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The event was attended by representatives from local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which will last for two years, specifically aims to improve the quality of life for elderly and disabled residents within the Municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and European Union sources.

The scheduled activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the most vulnerable. Additionally, social transportation will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
