On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The event was attended by some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and several volunteer organizations.

Objectives and funding

The project, which will last two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative’s implementation is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and European Union funds.

The planned activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for vulnerable groups. Social transportation will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
