Start of the Agreement and Participants
On early June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The operation involved representatives from local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives from the district association, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which will last two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents within the Municipality. The total sum allocated for the implementation of the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and European funds.
Planned Activities and Specific Goals
The planned activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the most vulnerable groups. Social transport services will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers established.
