On early June 1996, an agreement was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for signing a project supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Participants included representatives from local political and social forces, such as the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the municipality. The total sum allocated for the realization of the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded with regional and European funds.

The planned activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization activities for the weaker groups. Social transport services will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers established.
