On early June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at assisting the most vulnerable social groups. Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the operation, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and funding

The project, which will last two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the Municipality. The total amount allocated for implementing the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and EU funds.

Planned activities and specific goals

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the weaker groups. Social transportation will also be enhanced, and listening centers and gathering places will be established.
