On early June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The operation involved several representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and funding

The project, which will last two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of elderly people and disabled residents in the Municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative’s implementation is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and European funds.

Planned activities and specific goals

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the vulnerable groups. Social transportation will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
