On early June 1996, an agreement was signed at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for a project supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The operation involved some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and funding

The project, which will last for two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents of the Municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and community funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the most vulnerable groups. Social transport will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
