On early June 1996, an agreement was signed in the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda for a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total funds allocated for the initiative amount to about one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European Community funds.
