On the day early June 1996, an agreement was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for the signing of a project supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The operation involved some representatives from local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and funding

The project, which will last two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents in the Municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded with regional and community funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the weaker groups. Social transportation will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
