On early June 1996, an agreement was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for signing a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The operation involved some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will have a duration of two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the Municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European Union funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the vulnerable groups. Social transportation will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
