Start of the convention and participants

On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for signing a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Participants included some representatives of local political and social forces, such as the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various voluntary organizations.

The project, which is set to last two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the Municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative’s implementation is around one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and European Union funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization opportunities for the weaker groups. Additionally, social transportation will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
