Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the day early June 1996, an agreement was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Representatives from local political and social forces participated in the operation, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.
Goals and Funding
The project, which will last two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and European funds.
Planned Activities and Specific Objectives
The activities include home care services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the most vulnerable groups. Social transportation will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
