On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held in the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the operation, including the mayor, representatives from the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and funding
The project, which will last two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents of the municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and European funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the weaker groups. Social transportation will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers established.
