Start of the Agreement and Participants

On early June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Participants included some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and European funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the weaker groups. Additionally, social transportation will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
