Start of the Agreement and Participants

On early June 1996, an agreement was signed at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to implement a project supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Participants included representatives of local political and social forces, such as the mayor, representatives of neighborhood associations, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which will last two years, aims primarily to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and European funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the most vulnerable. Social transportation will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
