Start of the Agreement and Participants

On early June 1996, an agreement was signed at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for a project supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Several representatives from local political and social forces participated in the operation, including the mayor, representatives from the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which will last two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and EU funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the poorest segments. Additionally, social transportation will be enhanced, and listening and meeting centers will be established.
