On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for the signing of a project in favor of the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the operation, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and funding

The project, which will last two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of seniors and disabled residents within the municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and European funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the most vulnerable groups. Social transport services will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers established.
