Start of the agreement and participants
On the beginning of June 1996, a conference was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda to sign a project supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The event was attended by some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and funding
The project, which will last two years, aims especially to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative’s realization is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded with regional and European Union funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the weaker groups. Additionally, social transport will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
