Start of the Convention and Participants

On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held in the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Representatives from local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of neighborhood associations, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which will last two years, aims primarily to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative amounts to about one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and European Union funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the most vulnerable groups. Social transportation will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
