On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project to support the most vulnerable social groups. Participating in the operation were some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and funding
The project, which will have a duration of two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded with regional and community funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the most vulnerable. Social transportation will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
