Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Launches with €100K Funding

On early June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The operation involved some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which will last two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative totals approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and community sources.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the weaker groups. Social transport services will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
