Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Launches with Community and Institutional Support
Start of the agreement and participants
On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda for signing a project in favor of the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the operation, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteering organizations.
Objectives and funding
The project, which will last two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and community funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization activities for the groups most in need. Social transportation will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
