Community Support Initiative in Cornuda Aims to Boost Social Inclusion
Start of the agreement and participants
On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda for signing a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the quartiere association, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and funding
The project, which will have a duration of two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and community funds.
Activities and planned objectives
The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the groups most in need. Social transportation services will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
