Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Launches with Community and Institutional Support

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the day early June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which will have a duration of two years, aims particularly to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and community funds.

Activities and Expected Goals

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the weaker groups. Additionally, social transport will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
