Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Launches with Regional and EU Funding

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for signing a project in favor of the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which will last two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative‘s implementation is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and EU funds.

Activities and Expected Goals

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the weaker segments. Additionally, social transportation will be expanded, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
