Community Support Project Launches to Aid Vulnerable Groups in Cornuda

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On early June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last for two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and European community funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the weaker groups. Additionally, social transportation will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
